Early Spring in Lapland
As winter’s embrace gently loosens, the Arctic awakens in a balance of light and renewal. The days rapidly grow longer, while the drifts of snow glisten like jewels under the returning sun. Crisp air carries the promise of new life, as frozen rivers gradually begin to flow, and nature stirs from its hibernation. In this fleeting yet magical transition, spring in the Arctic is a quiet spectacle—one of warmth emerging from the cold, of light reclaiming the horizon, and of a world coming back to life.
Private experiences of Spring
Discover the Arctic spring
In spring time daylight steadily increases, and starting from late March or early April the temperatures rise gently but steadily. Although, on average, the snow melts during April, it is still considered a snowy month. The Northern Lights are also visible until Spring and especially March is still a perfect time to go hunting the magical phenomena.
